As described in question 1.2 (SMART+ BLUETOOTH PORTFOLIO) there are three different firmware versions available for SMART+ Bluetooth products. One is for the use in Apple Home app, one for the use in Google Home app and one for Amazon Alexa and the LEDVANCE SMART+ app. If you want to change between those four apps, you need to switch the firmware as described below.
The standard delivery firmware of every SMART+ Bluetooth product is the Google Assistant (Bluetooth Mesh) firmware. To switch the firmware of the SMART+ Bluetooth products you always need the LEDVANCE SMART+ app. If your LEDVANCE Smart+ product has Bluetooth Mesh firmware (Google Assistant or LEDVANCE SMART+ app compatible firmware) on it, the product will not appear in Apple Home app, when searching for devices.
Please be aware that Google Home app will also recognize products with LEDVANCE SMART+ app compatible. This will cause failures while adding devices to Google Home app. So please check, if your device is on the latest Google Assistant compatible firmware. For more information how to upgrade to Google Assistant compatible firmware see FAQ section 4 (SMART+ with Google Assistant).
Also be aware that it is not possible to switch between SMART+ Bluetooth and SMART+ Zigbee firmware.

2.3.3. WHAT IS THE WIRELESS RANGE OF SMART+ BLUETOOTH LAMPS?
The wireless range of your SMART+ Bluetooth lamps depends on the used Bluetooth version:
a) SMART+ Bluetooth lamps in connection with the LEDVANCE SMART+ app, Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa App:
SMART+ Bluetooth lamps use Bluetooth Mesh if controlled by the LEDVANCE SMART+ app, Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa App. This means that depending on the construction material of a building and the existence of obstacles like walls, the signal may be impaired in certain areas. In addition, the installation situation of the lamp into a luminaire and its material properties may have an influence on the signal strength. As long as the Bluetooth signal is not impaired, it can reach a range of up to 50 meters between two SMART+ Bluetooth products. In addition, the Bluetooth Mesh signal is repeated by every SMART+ Bluetooth product using Bluetooth Mesh that is connected to the power grid. Thereby, in general, it is possible to control SMART+ Bluetooth lamps using Bluetooth Mesh from a smartphone or tablet that is further away from the lamp than 50 meters, if another SMART+ Bluetooth product using Bluetooth Mesh is operated in between.
b) SMART+ Bluetooth lamps in connection with Apple HomeKit:
SMART+ Bluetooth lamps use Bluetooth Low Energy in connection with Apple HomeKit as its transmission standard. This means that depending on the construction material of a building and the existence of obstacles like walls, the signal may be impaired in certain areas. As long as the Bluetooth signal is not compromised, it can reach a range of up to 50 meters between your Apple device and a SMART+ Bluetooth lamp.
Individual SMART+ Bluetooth lamps can be reset to factory setting and reconfigured without the entire smart home system having to be reinstalled. Just delete the lamp in your Smart Home system (see FAQ LEDVANCE SMART+ app, FAQ section SMART+ with Apple HomeKit, SMART+ with Amazon Alexa or SMART+ with Google Assistant)) or manually reset it by:
a) Resetting SMART+ Bluetooth RGBW lamps:
To reset a SMART+ Bluetooth RGBW lamp to factory setting, switch it ON for three seconds then OFF for three seconds five times in succession. When switched on again, the lamp flashes blue, green and red as confirmation and can now be incorporated in a smart home system again.
b) Resetting SMART+ Bluetooth Tunable White lamps:
To reset a SMART+ Bluetooth Tunable White lamp to factory setting, switch it ON for three seconds then OFF for three seconds five times in succession. When switched on again, the lamp flashes two times cold white and warm white as confirmation and can now be incorporated in the smart home system again.
c) Resetting SMART+ Bluetooth Dimmable lamps:
To reset a SMART+ Bluetooth Dimmable lamp to factory setting, switch it ON for three seconds then OFF for three seconds five times in succession. When switched on again, the lamp dims three times up and down as confirmation and can now be incorporated in the smart home system again.
