HOW TO LINK TO APPLE HOMEKIT?

  • SMART+ BLUETOOTH PRODUCTS
 
Here are the steps to link your LEDVANCE SMART+ Bluetooth devices with Apple Homekit:

1. Make sure that the Apple Home App and a Siri Speaker is installed.
2. Click “More” Section in the bottom right corner of the SMART+ App and click on Third-party Services -> Apple HomeKit.
3. Click the “Bluetooth” button.
4. Please ensure that your Bluetooth device is reset. If it's not, you can reset your Bluetooth product by turning it off and on after 3 seconds or by referring to the product's user manual. The product will then briefly blink, indicating that it is now reset or in pairing mode. 
5. Found devices can now be activated for Apple Home by tapping on the "Activate" button. The update completion will be indicated by a green checkmark in the app.
6. Now you can switch to the Apple Home app and there you can search and add the product.

Important Note: If you are using the SMART+ Bluetooth products in connection with Apple Home, then a Apple Home device/speaker is required.The SMART+ Bluetooth products cannot be controlled parallely by Apple Home and the SMART+ App. It can only be added and controlled by one service at a time.

Please note that the LEDVANCE SMART+ Bluetooth Solar products cannot be connected to Apple HomeKit/ Speakers.
 
  • SMART+ MATTER PRODUCTS

Here are the steps to link your LEDVANCE SMART+ Matter devices with Apple Home:

1. Make sure that your LEDVANCE SMART+ Matter Products have been added to the LEDVANCE SMART+ App and that the devices are online.
2. Make sure that the Apple Home App and a Apple Siri Speaker is installed.
3. Click “More” Section in the bottom right corner and click on Third-party Services --> Apple HomeKit.
4. Click the “MATTER” button.
5. Now select the Matter device that needs to be connected to Apple home.
6.  A QR/Manual code will now be generated which you need to scan/enter in the Apple home App.
It is important to note that the smartphone and the Matter product need to be connected to the same WIFI to be able to generate the sharing QR /Manual code.
 
  •   - SMART+ WiFi PRODUCTS

The SMART+ WiFi Products are not compatible with Apple Home.
