LEDVANCE Showcasing SYLVANIA SMART+ Commercial Lighting Portfolio with Leviton at LIGHTFAIR 2018

Wilmington, Mass. – At LIGHTFAIR® International (LFI®), LEDVANCE, the maker of SYLVANIA general lighting in the United States and Canada, is showcasing its SYLVANIA SMART+™ Commercial Lighting portfolio in partnership with Leviton®, providing a perfect solution for upgrading any space easily with wireless controls to achieve energy and labor savings and a better occupant experience.  The customizable retrofit solution includes SYLVANIA SMART+ ZigBee® LED lamps and luminaires, Leviton Lumina™ RF wireless controls and sensors, and the user-friendly Leviton Neuron mobile app which enables commissioning a whole room in a few simple steps.  The system can help create a better user experience in offices, conference rooms, hospital/dentist offices, bars, restaurants, libraries and classrooms. 

With the customizable SYLVANIA SMART+ Commercial Lighting offering, contractors can wirelessly connect and control a wide assortment of SYLVANIA SMART+ ZigBee LED lamps and luminaires with Leviton switches and occupancy and daylight sensors.  Smart lighting options include dimming, RGBW and adjustable white ranging from 2700K - 6500K.  With the system, contractors can easily:

• retrofit private offices for immediate energy savings and customized control,

• create flexible lighting plans in open space environments that can adjust with the space as needs and requirements change,

• configure scenes and occupancy modes in conference rooms to make meetings more productive,

• enable lighting levels and color tuning control for educators in classrooms, and

• create dynamic and colorful scenes in bars and restaurants.

With this system, distributors can stock a few SKUs and offer customers a solution that includes the LED retrofit and dimming, multi-zone daylight harvesting, occupancy or vacancy sensing, scene control, and manual control.  For contractors, lamps can be installed without replacing existing ballasts, and both lamps and wireless controls can be installed without rewiring or additional wiring.  The Leviton Neuron App features Ladderless Commissioning™, which eases installation and configuration, and the system is easily expandable.  In addition, the easy product selection guarantees lamps and controls compatibility which addresses a key challenge for distributors and contractors by eliminating the guesswork of trying to determine which controls work with which lamps and also minimizes callbacks.  The system also enables easy energy code compliance, meeting lighting control requirements for IECC, ASHRAE 90.1 and Title 24.
