Style meets technology: The new Ledvance LED luminaires
The new luminaires from Ledvance bring together modern LED technology and functions with attractive designs for different living areas.
A complete series of new models from Ledvance demonstrates how LED luminaires can upgrade various areas of a home. Thanks to state-of-the-art LED technology and many practical functions, the luminaires are highly durable, help to save electricity and emit light to precisely where needed. They're also real eye-catchers.
For terraces and gardens Ledvance offers more than 50 new models and versions from the Endura Style product range for a wide variety of tastes. Many of these outdoor luminaires, such as the stylish Cylinder model in stainless steel with indirect light and the chic Lantern Bowl model, are offered by Ledvance in two variants – one for wall mounting and the other for mounting to posts.
The attractive Lantern Solar wall luminaire is leading the way in several respects: The integrated solar module means it is not only flexibly positionable while providing one and a half hours of continuous lighting on a fully-charged battery, but also only switches on when needed thanks to its integrated motion detector.
Diverse and simple-to-install indoor luminaires
For indoor applications, the Ledvance Panel luminaires with the family name of Osram Planon are not only highly practical but blend seamlessly into almost all interiors thanks to their discreet design – ideal for living rooms, hallways, kitchens and in the office. The rectangular Planon Pure models with a height of just one centimeter can be laid into grid ceilings with just a few flicks of the hand. As an alternative, the Planon Plus variant features a practical, pre-assembled surface-mount frame enabling further installation by one person in just a few minutes. Professionals with more advanced needs such as those with home cinemas wishing to match the color temperature to their movie and steplessly dim the light should consider the premium models with practical remote control.
The round Ledvance luminaires from the Osram Orbis series with a diversity of variants are also well-suited for use in a range of different living rooms. The advanced models with supplementary "Click CCT" designation for example can be simply dimmed using the light switch, and color temperature is adjusted in three levels. Orbis Sparkle is a particular highlight, creating an appealing atmospheric ambience with its "starry sky effect".
As with the Panel luminaires, the top "Remote CCT" Orbis models also allow light to be dimmed and feature continuous adjustment of color temperature between warm white and cool white according to wishes via remote control. Orbis premium models also have an automatic switch-off function to make sure you don't need to get out of bed again in the late evening to switch off the light. The nightlight function is also good news for people who like to sleep with light.
