the challenge

The village of Tuchoměřice is located approx. 3 km from the main urban areas. m. Prague Ruzyně and Přední Kopanina. Around 1,600 permanent residents currently live in the village and it is growing, developing and modernizing in line with the general trend. This is also related to the replacement of existing public lighting, where sodium discharge lamps were installed, for more modern and, above all, more energy-saving LED lighting

the SOLUTION

Based on the tender process and experience from previous years, the municipality chose LEDVANCE and its products as a new supplier. STREET LIGHT AREA luminaires in two types of wattages, 35 W and 45 W, were designed and subsequently installed here. Due to the trends in the field of public lighting, where the effort is to bring the color of the light closer to the original sodium discharge lamps, a chromaticity temperature of 3000 K, which is the so-called warm white light, was proposed here.
