Optimized in performance and efficiency and with a new rectangular version, the popular BIOLUX HCL PANELS are more powerful and versatile than ever before:
  • New addition – the 1200 x 300 mm BIOLUX HCL PL 1200 S
  • Thanks to 10% more light output (lm) for all versions fewer PANELS are required for a certain brightness
  • 14% increase in efficiency (lm/W) for BIOLUX HCL PL 600 S and PL 625 S
  • Light colors from 2,700 K to 6,500 K
  • High quality of light at Ra > 90
  • Compatible with BIOLUX HCL control unit, VIVARES HCL and Zigbee 3.0 systems
  • Pre-mounted connection box for tool-free electrical connection with the option of through-wiring

FURTHER INNOVATIONS OF BIOLUX HCL SYSTEM AT A GLANCE

  • Extended usage with the new Timetable and sensor configuration mode
  • Sensor controlled light for energy and cost savings of up to 30%
  • Up to 48 BIOLUX HCL products can be connected now in one BIOLUX HCL system. Applications in rooms of up to 220 sqm are therefore possible.
  • The HCL Demo Mode is showing the Natural HCL curve in a 2 min. time sequence. This especially is helping to check that the installation works well.
  • Improved functionalities with the new BIOLUX HCL app, with extensive support during the installation process
  • A separate light switch is no longer needed thanks to the now implemented ON/OFF function in the control unit – one light control device decreases the installation effort
  • All new features and benefits are available with a simple automatic update of the installed HCL app or by download from the app stores.
  • After the BIOLUX HCL app is automatically updated, the firmware of the HCL control unit is also updated.

EVEN MORE APPLICATIONS

The BIOLUX HCL system is also of great interest to hospitals, nursing homes, schools and kindergartens because the new Timetable mode automatically switches to different light profiles based on a customizable schedule. This makes lighting management appreciably easier in places where daily routines are always the same.

The BIOLUX system from LEDVANCE is ideal for single room solutions with up to 48 BIOLUX HCL products or luminaires1 such as meeting rooms or offices with little or no daylight. When integrated with VIVARES the BIOLUX HCL system is even suitable for open plan offices or entire floor solutions.

These five HCL light profiles are available:

  • BOOST Highest concentration for highly detailed and particularly demanding tasks
  • FOCUS Enhanced concentration, e.g. in meetings
  • NATURAL Default setting
  • CREATIVE Creativity in workshops, e.g. in brainstorming sessions
  • RELAX e.g. during breaks in meetings

THROUGH THE DAY WITH HCL

Morning to midday/ after lunch: bright, energizing cold white light with a high blue content (e.g. 6,500 K at an illuminance of 450 lux at the eye).

Toward the evening: direct warm white light with low blue content (e.g. 2,700 to 3,000 K) which helps the body relax and prepare for the night.
