Lighting solutions from LEDVANCE extend BOSCH's security portfolio with visual components.
Together with BOSCH Smart Home, LEDVANCE is launching two perfectly matched product bundles for more security in the smart home. The SMART+ products from LEDVANCE are directly integrated into the BOSCH Smart Home System so that the setup and operation of the starter sets are very easy for the end customer. Additional accessories like a separate bridge are not necessary. The bundles cover the application scenarios burglary and fire protection. For example, if there is an attempted break-in, the LEDVANCE lamps will flash red to deter intruders. If smoke develops, they illuminate possible escape and rescue routes with an intense yellow light. The two starter sets are now available in German retail and from November also in the LEDVANCE online shop (www.shop.ledvance.com).
The LEDVANCE Starter Kit "Fire Protection" contains two smart LED lamps from LEDVANCE with E27 socket, a Bosch Smart Home Controller and the matching smoke alarm. The set is available at a price of 194,91€ until 31.12.2020. From January onwards, the price will rise to 199.95€ due to the increase in VAT.
The starter set "Alarm System" consists of a smart LED lamp with E27 socket and a LED light strip from LEDVANCE as well as the Bosch Smart Home Controller, a motion detector and two Bosch Smart Home door/window contacts. The price is 292,39€, from 1.1.2021 on 299,95€.
The lighting solutions of the SMART+ ZigBee 3.0 series from LEDVANCE can be easily integrated into the system via the existing Bosch Smart Home Controller. A separate bridge is not necessary. End customers thus enjoy the greatest possible convenience during setup and use as well as a high level of security and data protection.
